This past Saturday morning, Laurie Adams, Todd, and the team from Clean Pelican were at the City Club and along North Boulevard, helping remove Ball Moss from trees there.
So, what is Ball Moss?
Ball Moss is a close cousin of Spanish Moss and a natural part of our southern ecosystem. In recent years, however, it has become unusually abundant for reasons that are not yet fully understood. When Ball Moss becomes too prolific, it can overwhelm already stressed trees, reducing their leaf canopy and limiting their ability to photosynthesize. Over time, that added stress can end a weakened tree.
For now, carefully removing excess Ball Moss is one of the most effective ways to reduce the burden on affected trees and help them regain their health and vigor.

Just as Todd removes Ball Moss from trees to eliminate unnecessary burdens and promote healthy growth, he and Bailey Hennesy help clients remove outdated, unclear, ineffective, and no-longer-useful provisions from older wills and estate plans. A well-maintained estate plan, like a well-maintained tree, is better equipped to thrive for generations.
Whether you're creating an estate plan for the first time or updating documents you've had for years, Todd can help ensure your plan is healthy, strong, and growing in the right direction.
Estate planning should not merely survive. It should thrive.
